MUKESH AMBANI, the richest person in India and as he entered into telecom market with RELIANCE JIO, he proved why he is at that position. Now he has a total of 1.2 billion active customers to his JIO- Digital Life project, making India consume the data, at the never before rate and thus making INDIA the most data consuming country in the world.
JIO has brought a revolutionary changed the market and telecom industry of India. The operators have brought there prices down by 80% now, and I just imagine how much fooled us,by making us have separate recharge for every thing,a recharge for talk time , a recharge for data, a recharge for text messages, ok, exclude text messages , but then also, they charged too much.
Adding to his success run in telecom industry in INDIA, Mr. Ambani announced JIO phone in the last week of JULY. And called it India ka smartphone, which is theoretically a free 4G feature phone, with aim of reaching to the lower society of INDIA,targeting almost 50 crore users.JIO phone said to start delivery from 1st week of September during announcement but was shifted to 21st and then 24th September later on.

We all talk about JIO PHONE as a phone must buy due to genuine reasons, but have we ever talked or discussed about the limitations of the JIO Phone, about what it cannot?
Hardly ever!
So here we are gonna discuss those things, which JIO phone lacks to be called "INDIA KA SMARTPHONE". And I promise to give a good news too after it.
Lets dicuss 10 CONS of JIO phone point wise. PROS OF JIO PHONE
1. No Whats App - Yes, you get no Whats App in the JIO Phone, nor preinstalled nor in the JIO STORE.
2. NO Facebook - YEah! Thats true there is no FB Application present on the JIO Phone, anyhow you can use it via browser, JIO Browser.
3. NO You Tube - Yeah! you read it ,your eyes are cool, have no issues in them.But JIO Phone does not have You Tube support too.
4. NO Hotspot - Ok! if you feel cheated, then there is much more to go. And your thought of using this device as a wifi hotspot has come to an end for now.
5. Single Sim - Yes again.
6.Only JIO Sim - If you ever had feelings of using other SIMs in JIO phone, my dear friend, your feeling now ends.
7. Buy TV Cable for cash - Jio is not delivering TVCable as of now, and you will have to pay extra for it later to enjoy data of your jio phone on TV.
8. Recharge every month - Rs.153/- per month to get your JIo phone running and Rs.309/- per month to run data of your JIO phone on TV
9.No NFC - So how am I gonna make digial payments now?,
10.Take it as Rs.1500 phone - because practically hardly any phone works for 3 years without any hardware problem in it. There are very good chance that you may lost or broke or replace original components of the phone, which is infringement to the JIO's return policy.
a unwanted bonus con - which just came to my mind as I picked my JIO phone
11. Tooo many pre installed JIO apps - Jio games, Jio store, JIO music, JIO this JIO that, the menu is full of JIO apps
So, these were the points where you have to compromise with the JIO phone, if you use it as a secondary phone or gift to a person as his first smart phone with basic internet usage, its a best available choice in the market, a far better choice as other give you limited functionality of just a 2G calling that to at higher price, which isn't refundable.
Its not that, due to above mentioned things JIO Phone is a bad choice, no not at all.
Almost every, rather 5/10 cons can be turned into pros with a software update.
Jio is in talk with developers of Whats App to develop a different version for their KAI-OS based JIO phone.
Similarly, FB and You Tube are no big deal to be developed.
Jio already promised to give NFC support later, by the end of the calender 2017.
HOTSPOT - The hottest topic, it can also be added into JIO phone with a software update, but JIO has not confirmed about it.
